PNP Chief Bato Dela Rosa Alerts Ozamiz Cops About Parojinog Family Revenge

Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Director General Ronald ‘Bato’ dela Rosa recently alerted the Ozamiz City police force regarding the alleged plan of the Parojinog family to seek revenge on them.

In an ambush interview on the sidelines of the 26th anniversary celebration of the Bureau of Fire Protection which was held at Camp Aguinaldo, PNP Chief Dela Rosa said that he has already assigned the regional director of PNP region 10 to add more police officers on his team due to the rumors spreading around that the Parojinogs plan on hiring hit-men to take down Ozamiz City police officials.

According to Dela Rosa, the additional men whom the political family will get will be coming from Culambugan, Lanao del Norte. The PNP Chief also added that they were spotted riding two big boats going to Ozamiz City.

PNP Chief Dela Rosa explained that the Ozamiz City police need to be on the lookout for their safety since they took down members of one of the biggest, most influential and powerful families in their area.

The PNP Chief also did not deny the fact that other groups might see the situation as an opportunity to do harm on some police officers and blame the crime on the Parojinog family.

Meanwhile, the PNP also challenged Ozamiz City Vice Mayor Nova Parojinog-Echavez to prove her claim that the police officers who conducted the raid in their home planted the evidence they found.

According to PNP spokesperson Chief Supt. Dionardo Carlos, the raid that was conducted by the PNP-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) Region 10 was well-documented.

The bloody raid conducted in the home of Vice Mayor Nova Parojinog-Echavez and her father, Mayor Reynaldo Parojinog, Sr. happened on Sunday morning, July 30.

The Parojinog family was tagged by President Rodrigo Duterte as one of the biggest narcopoliticians in the country.
